Dear Hazlet Hammerheads Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2024 Hazlet Swim Team. 

The season is fast approaching with the first practice beginning on June 10^th at 4:30pm. During this practice we will also have Sport Spot available for swimsuit orders. The swimsuit will be the same style as last year. We will have a registration table set up to confirm we have all the correct information regarding your swimmers and your key information. Please make sure you check out the Hazlet Swim Team website for all information; including swim practice, swim meets, sign ups, etc.

The swim team is made up of volunteers. We have a few Parent representative volunteer spots that we need assistance with so if you are interested in any of the areas below, please let me know. Anyone signing up for these spots will be considered a Parent Representative for the season.

1. Social Media - Communications, Face Book postings, Picture postings, etc.
2. Meet Assistance - Work with Coach's to help run meets , tracking events , recording times via our new SwimTopia system.
3. Photographer - Take pictures of our swimmers in action, plus pictures of Coaches and Parent representatives. They are important too.
4. Fund Raising - Develop some ideas to have fun and make a little money for the team. Examples - Movie night, pizza night after a practice, etc.

Also, and just as important, are the sign-up positions needed for each swim meet. In the swim team calendar section of the website, you will see each swim meet identified. Included is a green button for Meet entry for your swimmer's and a green button for Job Sign ups. We ask you to please sign up for a job for each swim meet so that we have coverage to support our swimmers during the meet. We are looking forward to a fun and fast Swim season so check out the website , volunteer, and let's hit the pool.
